How to add Student or Staff Email to Outlook App on macOS

How to add your UBC Email (Staff or Student) to the Outlook App on macOS
This was tested on macOS Ventura 13.3.
- 1. Download the Outlook app from the App Store (if you don’t have it already)
- 2. Enter your student/staff email on this page. (Or, click Outlook -> Settings -> Accounts -> + )
- 3. It should automatically detect it, but if it does not, choose Exchange as the provider.
- 4. Enter the information for your staff/student email as specified below:
- Student Email (student.ubc.ca):
- Domain: “EAD\{your_CWL}.stu”
- Password: Your CWL Password
- Server: “activesync.student.ubc.ca”
- Staff Email (mail.ubc.ca or ubc.ca):
- Domain: “EAD\{your_CWL}”
- Password: Your CWL Password
- Server: “activesync.mail.ubc.ca”
5. On the dialogue that pops up, select “Always use my response for this server” and click Allow.
