How does the new videoconference (VC) dialling system work?

I've heard an upgrade has happened to our VC system for security and to enable five-digit calling to Vancouver; what has changed?

Outbound calls from a converted room to non-UBC videoconference locations: no change

Inbound calls to a converted room (meaning how do outside folks dial into our UBCO rooms?):

          1) Call the gatekeeper at 206.87.24.150

          2) When prompted, enter the room’s extension plus #

Calls between most UBCO and UBCV converted rooms need only use the five-digit extension of the room being called; no need to dial the gatekeeper first.
