Can I cancel my own ticket?
While customers may wish to cancel a ticket when a problem is resolved prior to being addressed by a technician, there may be work going on behind the scenes. For that reason, only our dispatchers can cancel your ticket.
To request that a ticket be Cancelled, Add a Note to your ticket. The dispatcher will be notified and will cancel the ticket on your behalf.
Instructions:
Step 1:After logging into the IT Helpdesk system at helpdesk.ok.ubc.ca with your Novell credentials, click theView My Tickets link under IT, Media and Classroom Services. Need help logging in? Click the Help link in the Login box. |

Step 2:The My Tickets screen will load, displaying your Open tickets by default. Click the Ticket No. of the ticket you'd like to Cancel.

Step 3:On the Overview tab, click the Add New link in the Notes section, or click the Notes tab and choose to add a new note from there.

Step 4:Enter the cancellation reason and click Save. The dispatcher will be notified and will cancel the ticket on your behalf.

Getting back to My TicketsTo go back to the My Tickets screen at any time, click the My Tickets link in the left-hand navigation, or the blue TICKETS link at the top of the page.
