Cisco Anyconnect will not launch in Windows 8/8.1
Symptoms :
When trying to start Cisco Anyconnect in Windows 8/8.1, an error message appears that says it failed to initialize the connection subsystem.
1. Find the Cisco Anyconnect install folder (by default it will be C:\Program Files (x86)\Cisco\Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client
2. Right click on vpnui and choose properties. Go to the compatibility tab and switch setting to run as Windows 7
3. Restart machine and software should run properly.
