Requesting the Service
Requests for the addition of UBCO Softphone service should be made through a Service Now General Request if the user has an existing UBCO telephone service. The Request must include the user's existing telephone number, Cost Centre, and PM Codes. You need to indicate whether a desk phone is still required or should be removed. If you are requesting UBCO Softphone service for someone who does not have existing UBCO telephone service you should use the Onboarding request. You will need to specify that you are requesting softphone service and if a telephone set is also required. The request must include the Cost Centre, and PM Codes along with all the other required information. You can find a link to the Onboarding request on our website Voice Services
Service Support
Support is limited to UBCO provided equipment while on-campus. Any troubleshooting outside of the campus (e.g. at home) is not available including troubleshooting home network issues, peripheral devices and non-UBCO hardware.
