My department is moving. Do I need to enter separate tickets for each individual equipment move?

If you are moving five or fewer individuals, please submit a ticket for each individual being moved.

  1. Login to the IT Helpdesk system at helpdesk.ok.ubc.ca with your Novell credentials
  2. Click the Enter a New Ticket (IT) link under IT, Media and Classroom Services
  3. Under What would you like to do, choose Request Equipment Move
  4. Enter the relevant details and click Submit

If you are moving more than five individuals, submit a ticket for "Something Else".  We will contact you to obtain the relevant information, and help coordinate the move.

  1. Login to the IT Helpdesk system at helpdesk.ok.ubc.ca with your Novell credentials
  2. Click the Enter a New Ticket (IT) link under IT, Media and Classroom Services
  3. Under What would you like to do, choose Something Else
  4. Enter information about your move, including the number of individuals moving, the building the move is from, and the building the move is to.
  5. Click Submit
